LBK Exterior Services, Inc. is a family owned and operated business. Our company was started in 1989 by Allen Kuykendall. He started his company as Allen’s Landscaping. It was primarily a lawn maintenance company that worked for local homeowners. As the business grew and Allen gained education and experience in the lawn and landscaping industry, the original maintenance company grew into a full scale landscaping company. During this growth our services also expanded into grading, masonry and hardscaping. The once small lawn maintenance company had now evolved into a turnkey exterior company, allowing builders, developers, and homeowners to make one phone call that would have one contractor handle all their needs. As the business continued to grow, so did the Kuykendall family. As the years went by, more and more family members joined the business. Due to these new additions joining our ownership team, and the fact that our services were much more than just landscaping, in 2012 the family decided to rename the company LBK Exterior Services, Inc. This new name allowed the next generations of the Kuykendall family to progress the family business into the new age business world while staying rooted in the old-school business values that Allen used to build this great company. Our family business looks forward to helping your family with all your exterior projects! Due to the high standards we require for our landscape and hardscape materials, in 2024, we will be opening Kurk’s Garden Center and Supply Yard. This will allow us to not only grow a lot of our own plant material but will also allow us to import all types of stone, mulch and garden accessories from all over the Southeast.
