FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My estate planning is designed to meet the needs of the client. I offer three different package tiers with each one able to be customized. You will only pay for the documents and planning you need and ultimately YOU choose the price based on the level of planning you choose. I also offer creative financing options (payment in stages, payment plans, etc.) for those who need a plan but may not be able to pay in full at one time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We schedule a Family and Estate Planning Session. I send you a pre-meeting package which lets you get to know me and my firm, and which well guide you in getting more organized than you have ever been with your assets, your family, and your dreams and values. These last two are so important and often overlooked in the estate planning process. During our meeting, I'll educate you on what would happen to your loved ones and your property in various circumstances. We identify what is most important to you for planning, and then, if it is a good fit, we get to planning right then and there. We will meet again about a month later and you will sign your plan! This will ensure you wishes are established as soon as possible. Then, we will meet a couple weeks later and I will give you all your original documents, send letters to your guardians for your children, and make sure you completely understand what will happen in any event you can think of. Hopefully, we have established a quality relationship where I can guide you and your family for years to come. As you go on with life, your plan may need updating due to family changes, changes in the tax law, or other unforeseen events. And we review your plan every three (3) years at no charge.
