FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is done per job. Project pricing is based on material costs and estimated time to complete the project. Maintenance costs are based on the size of the lawn, hills, obstacles, and access. When estimating mowing and maintenance service, discounts may be available if multiple neighbors purchase service together.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We prefer not to give quotes without seeing the yard in person. Typically, after contacting a new customer, we set up a time to come out and look at the area, discuss design options, take measurements, and take reference pictures. Afterwards, if a drawn design is needed, we create the design, and communicate the design itself and revise as requested. We then create an estimate based on the design. After the estimate is approved, we require a 50% deposit to secure a date on the schedule. We typically schedule first come, first serve, but we can try to accommodate specific dates when possible. After the work is done, and the client has approved the work, the rest of the payment is due.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have nearly 10 years experience in landscaping work, ranging from maintenance, to full yard transformations. I have experience in design, plant care, hardscapes, walls, water features, carpentry, irrigation, lighting, and other assorted projects. I have also spent time working under a certified horticulturalist and licensed applicators.
