Introduction

We love caring and connecting with animals and creating everlasting relationships. We provide care for your fur baby as if they were our own. When you live a busy life, it is hard to consistently provide the attention and care that your pets can demand. We can help. We now offer in home training, group training, board and trains, dog walking and pet boarding while your away. Owner Fred Askew has been trained and certified by the Animal Behavioral College to teach your pet successful obedience. Currently Askew is working on certification for more experienced dog handling, including protection training. We are based out of Greenville, SC. I have a German Shepherd puppy who refused to be walked- would buck out of collars and harnesses, lay down constantly, and generally be a pain. He came and a minute, my usually defensive dog was his best friend. He also broke her of her bad walking habits within about 5-10mins. He was very friendly and informative, and connected me to other trainers that would help me achieve my specific goals. All around excellent :)

Fred came with his Husky to our House this morning and was super friendly and has huge knowledge on how to train a dog. I was happy to learn more things on how to properly train a Husky and highly appreciate what he showed me and how to handle our puppy. I highly recommend anyone who’s dog needs some training.

Awesome experience! My dog is a handful, and Fred had him walking on leash without pulling within 10 minutes of meeting him, I was shocked! He is truly a Dog Whisperer 😃

Fred was great! Lucy responded to him right away. He not only taught Lucy a couple of things- he taught me how to teach her. The major goals were met plus more! Great experience. I’d highly recommend Fred Askew!!

Fred did an outstanding job with our Cardigan Welsh Corgi. We sent an unruly stubborn girl and got back a dog that will obey commands happily. Fred is great with communication and sent videos and messages. His expertise in assessment and training coupled with his obvious love for animals makes for a great experience for owners and pets.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process involves a 1 hour evaluation, followed by either a single class or a group of classes depending on the dog(s) and the behavior modification.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certificate in Basic Obedience Most of our trainers are trained in the line of protection work with military/police k9s.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All kinds. Some are dog savvy and just need a little help, others need a lot of help and explaining. We are happy to accommodate both.
