Ed and his crew did a beautiful job of installing new hardwood flooring in our upstairs bedroom and hall, and this was not an easy job. Before beginning the actual installation, they took out and hauled away our old, disgusting carpet, fixed a crack in the stairway-top board that would be adjoining the new hardwood, and laboriously sanded parts of the subflooring so that the new flooring could be installed on a perfectly level surface. The installation itself was complicated by the fact that the Brazilian teak flooring was so hard that it couldn’t simply be nailed to the subfloor; every nail hole had to be pre-drilled so the nail could be driven into the subfloor. They somehow still managed to work faster than we thought would be possible, and they were pleasant and courteous throughout the whole process.
If you are looking for a first-rate hardwood installation, I would highly recommend Dreams Hardwoods and Cleaning. Their price was quite reasonable, and their work was amazing!
