FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally, I charge $75 a night for overnight care, for dogs, and if it is over a holiday like Thanksgiving or Christmas, I add 10.00 to that. I usually do "once a day visits" for cats and charge 20.00 per visit. If there are several animals, as a general rule, I do not charge anything additional per pet. This is just a overview, but there are some variables such as distance, that I also take into consideration. I like to treat each client individually.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally, we speak over the phone for a good length of time. I ask them questions about what they are looking for in the care of their animals, as well as the personal likes and dislikes, and personalities. This is my time to find out as much as I can about the dog or cat that I will be taking care of. Much like a child, they are all different and have their own unique qualities, style and personalities. My clients then fill me in on their needs and once we are both feeling comfortable with each other, we arrange to meet and continue our conversation further. Once they are satisfied that I will be a good fit for them, we arrange for the start of my care for their fur family.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Mainly dogs and cats
