The service call price on Thumbtack seems to default to 75.00 for electrical service instead of the 125.00 charge that it actually is. I found 400.00 on top of the 125.00 service call fee outrageous to replace 4 outlets. So, I didn't end up using this company.

Either way you misunderstood and didn’t ask questions yourself. You had 4 outlets that previous electricians could not figure out the problem. I diagnose your issue found the problems and told you to move forward to correct your problem it will be $100/ outlet. You had no material that I was going to supply. Had you gone with correcting the problem the service fee was waived but Because you didn’t go with correcting the problem I charged the full service fee for an electrical issue. Another prime example of people who don’t respect the craft. Not just anyone can do electrical work you’re paying for the knowledge, tools and my time! How ever, Thanks for consider RTI. We are not the cheap option by any means! I have over 15 years experience license insured and bonded! I’m sure after the information I shared with you about your issue. You use that information to tell the next guy to fix your problem for cheaper. Hence exactly why you pay a service fee for a diagnosis.
