This past weekend my husband and I became one at a wedding in Savannah, GA. The day would not have flowed so smoothly without wedding planner/coordinator Nashanda Polk. Just a few months ago we made contact with Nashanda and explained what our ideas and plans were for the wedding since for us this was a destination wedding. Each time I called she listened and contributed solid suggestions for what would make the day a happy one. She is extremely organized, thorough and able to foresee what options will work for a wonderful event. We are so delighted that we had the chance to work with Nashanda and it was a great day not just for us but, for our guest too!!!!!

Weddings are stressful...but not mine. I had the best coordinator. Nashanda thought of everything, she had us on time and ready for anything. Of course it was going to rain the morning of the ceremony...but no stress because Nashanda called and arranged to have the ceremony set up inside. If it wasn't for her I would've been pulling my hair out with all the little details and all the people setting up the ceremony and reception. I wouldn't of been able to just enjoy my wedding day with my family. Nashanda is like my Fairy Wedding Godmother. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants a stress free wonderful Wedding day. 10/10!

Nashanda was an absolute dream to work with! She really listened to what I envisioned and really brought everything together when I could have never completed everything on my own. From phone calls to text messages and inspiration photos, she carefully pulled all the information I threw at her and organized and planned my wedding better than I could have imagined. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a little extra help (or a lot!) planning and organizing their wedding day. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I place myself in the customers shoes.. what would I want or how would I want to be treated and I go from there! I’m really big on my word. If I say I’m going to deliver, I will go out my way to do just that!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Honestly… I’ve always had a passion to help others. It wasn’t until my actual wedding I realized that I love planning and executing and providing the fun. My day of coordinator made my day so easy! I want to be able to provide that same service to a bride! With the 360 Photo Booth, I wanted this for my wedding but everyone charged so much! I said.. it’s a need in the Savannah area at a reasonable rate so I decided to purchase and be that person☺️
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions! Yes, sometimes you do get what you pay for but also great work does not mean paying high prices! Book someone who can bring your vision to light! Event planning is stressful enough.. no need to add someone to the mix to stress you out more!
