Solid for refinishing, poor for new floors. I had a great experience with the crew redoing existing floors, and called them back for new wood floors.The new floors now have clear sanding marks - they only used a belt or drum sander - which they totally disavowed. They also missed some spots, sanded the original floor, and the resulting coat was incredibly rough.I paid for another coat and it's better, but I definitely won't be calling them for any additional projects, which is too bad - their refinishing work is solid, they're fast and relatively inexpensive.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THESE SLICK SALES PEOPLE.I PAID THEM IN FULL THEY REFUSE TO FINISH THE WORK.I CALLED THEM A FEW TIMES NO ANSWER. GRANTED THIS WAS A WHILE AGO, BUT I DID EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO GET6 THEM TO DO THE RIGHT THING. I HAVE BEEN VERY PATIENT..THEY CHARGED ME TOP DOLLAR WITH THE EXPECTATION THAT IT WOULD BE A PROFESSIONAL JOB. ALL I GOT WAS A HALF A JOB WHILE THEY HAVE MY MONEY. DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU. BE VERY CAREFUL .WHAT A SHAME.IF THEY WANT TO RESOLVE THIS THEY CAN POST A REPLY HERE ON GOOGLE AND I WILL TRY TO CALL THEM AGAIN

**beware of the price switch** received an over the phone quote for $1200 for 490 sqf. They arrived and told me I had 551 sqf and the cost is now $1700. Meaning a 12.4% increase in sqf = a 41.6% increase in price. When I made that point they mentioned all of the corners and 2 saddles guess over the the phone they thought the room was round!

We are offended by your strong accusation. However, a phone estimate is exactly that - an ESTIMATE. Surely you must understand that an in-person estimate is always the best and most accurate and it sounds like we honored our in-person estimate. They did a nice job on the floors, but broke my closet door in the process and didnt even tell me about it.Follow up: I texted the same day about the door. The reply by the business is garbage and a lie. The floors in my closet were refinished as well. The doors are sliding. I assume they didnt know how to slide it open and forced it which caused it to snap. I paid more for a new door than to finish the floors. Be very careful with these people in your home. Theyre sloppy.

We're not quite sure how refinishing hardwood floor can "break" a closet door. Customer service is our highest priority. Please call us.

A1 was recommended to me by a friend who was really happy with their work. I called them in and they gave me a very reasonable estimate on fixing, sanding and polishing my floors. I have to say that Steve and his crew did a fabulous job. They exceeded our expectations and our hardwood floors look amazing. They are shining like new and I cant even find where the repairs were made. My wife and I are still in awe. And they were so neat and polite. I highly recommend A1
