Solid for refinishing, poor for new floors. I had a great experience with the crew redoing existing floors, and called them back for new wood floors.The new floors now have clear sanding marks - they only used a belt or drum sander - which they totally disavowed. They also missed some spots, sanded the original floor, and the resulting coat was incredibly rough.I paid for another coat and it's better, but I definitely won't be calling them for any additional projects, which is too bad - their refinishing work is solid, they're fast and relatively inexpensive.

A1 was recommended to me by a friend who was really happy with their work. I called them in and they gave me a very reasonable estimate on fixing, sanding and polishing my floors. I have to say that Steve and his crew did a fabulous job. They exceeded our expectations and our hardwood floors look amazing. They are shining like new and I cant even find where the repairs were made. My wife and I are still in awe. And they were so neat and polite. I highly recommend A1

My floors in my hundred year old Brooklyn brownstone looks amazing.Steve and his team did a great job, arriving when promised leaving my home spotless even helping move my furniture.I will not hesitate recommending them in the future.

I recently had my engineered wood floor refinished and I couldn't be happier with the result. I called quite a few "wood floor experts" who said my floor needed to be replaced and could not be refinished. When I called A1, Steve said that it can be done, no problem. He quoted me a fair price and delivered on what he said. No surprises or hidden costs. Just experience, skill and professionalism from begining to end.
