Your proposals are based on your desires, scope of service, and what you wish to invest. While we’re required to note a rate, we only require a product retainer of what equates to 20% of the project. Half of said retainer is applied to material, appliances, furniture, decor, and accessories, etc., which we get great designer discounts. Clients typically save more money than they spend on our design services. Ex: we recently saved a client $8000 on what would have otherwise been approximately $33 K in kitchen cabinets, a retail quote collected from 3 comparable sources. Whether you are hiring us to consult with you, oversee your residence or workspace, design its rooms, manage its construction or installation, home stage it, or have our support teams do what we happened to have been thrice featured on TV, for, to pair down, unpack and/or organize your household contents, partially or completely set up your home or office, or if you simply want to buy your material, furniture, decor, and houseware through us, you’ve come to the right place. Working with us is efficient, fun and easy and will save you more money than you pay for design. In best managing your expectations in terms of what you would otherwise invest in design service alone, this is data According to the US Bureau of Labor and Statistics: “On average, a typical interior designer will cost $2,000 to $5,000, excluding furniture.” Most spend $1,893 to $11,180, or $5 to $12 per square foot for consultation and design. A living room at a flat fee of $2,500 to $5,000, and each bedroom at $1,000 to $2,000.” Inner Space is connected to excellent resources. I didn’t get a chance to meet Kay, but her associate, Corey, did a splendid job helping me tidy up and organize my downstairs space. What a difference! We have two toddlers and were embarrassed introducing him to our war zone. He was completely unfazed and diligently went to task immediately. We were so impressed that we are continuing our work with All In Place to beautify the remaining areas of our home!

I wish I could show a before pic but I would be too embarrassed to admit how bad one of my bedrooms had gotten. The last 3 years have been some of the worst & overwhelming years of my life! During this time I was doing online retail therapy but not returning the items that didn’t fit or was damaged. The room became overwhelming that I frequently just shut the door. When I was ready to deal with it I posted here, and then Kay walked into my life. She helped me get rid of about 40% of my stuff and took it for donations. The rest of the stuff was organized into boxes to go to storage & to keep in my home. It was an exhausting 4 hours...mentally & emotionally. Kay was very easy to work with & talk to. I never felt pressured to get rid of something. I’m so thrilled with the room & have been inspired to work on organizing the rest of my home with Kay or any one of her associates! Thank you, Kay!!!

Working with Kay was so far above and beyond my expectations it’s hard to put into words. Not only does she have a quality eye for design but she went so above and beyond the call of duty in terms of responsiveness, availability, and effort that I couldn’t be more impressed. Her willingness to go the extra mile brought a real sense of comfort during the process, she was always willing to drive to my house at a moments notice to deliver items or provide feedback or tackle issues. Most of all, she always did it with a positive attitude. When faced with certain adversities, she always calmly found a solution and move forward. Kay was great. Hubby and I had difficulty choosing paint colors. She came with swatches and we came up with a perfect decision. Also, I talked to another designer before hiring Kay. I felt as though she kept pushing me to get minimum 4 hours. I was very turned off by that. Kay worked with me and only charged me for 1 hour since that’s all I needed. Also, she included a lot more in that hour besides helping us with paint color. We made decisions on some furniture colors. I still contact her for other questions and she’s doing her best to find inexpensive ways to help me design and organize. I will definitely work with Kay all the time.
