- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each project, and event is different, but I do work to ensure that my pricing is fair, and inline with what others are pricing. I deliver strong value for the price given my background in radio, public speaking, and event hosting.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once the contract has been signed, and mailed back to me with the non-refundable retainer, I forward the event agenda to the new customer to be completed. This agenda takes the new customer through a step by step process in planning their event. For all my clients, I offer complimentary planning sessions, both in person and over the phone, to review the agenda. I encourage open communication all the way up to the date of the event.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My background is in radio and broadcasting, so I've always enjoyed being around people. Back in 2005, I was given the opportunity to host a wedding reception for the first time and absolutely loved it! Seeing the joy people were having at that event got me hooked. I've since hosted hundreds of events.
