As your coordinator, I will watch over the details of your wedding day so you can enjoy all the special moments with your family and friends, stress-free. My main role is to ensure that your plans are carried out smoothly and to discretely handle any problems that may arise, so the bride and groom, family, and friends can enjoy the celebration!
I have coordinated weddings in Bluffton, Hilton Head, Beaufort, Savannah, and the surrounding areas for over a decade. My experience in event production has allowed me to plan a variety of events, including holiday parties, baby showers, memorial services, fitness competition, small benefit concerts, a 5k charity race, and an 8-day film festival that draws an annual attendance of over 60,000 people!
As your wedding coordinator, my responsibilities include creating a detailed timeline and reviewing all vendor contracts to clarify contractual obligations. We will discuss your vision for the ceremony, and I will coordinate the wedding rehearsal. On your wedding day, my responsibility would include being present at the venue to ensure every detail is set up and executed the way you envisioned it. I would cue all events per the timeline and oversee breakdown and clean up.
The following are just some of the tasks I will handle as your coordinator.
*12-15 weeks prior to Wedding Day
- Meet with Bride and Groom to create a wedding day timeline.
- Go over any arrangements the couple has previously made with vendors.
- Referral of vendors as needed.
* Pre-Ceremony
- Facilitate on-time arrival of vendors and oversee set up at all event locations (ceremony space, cocktail hour area, and reception venue).
- Transport items such as rings, bridal party's personal belongings, and any Ceremony and Reception decorations.
- Set up the guest book, favors, cake cutting utensils, table numbers, menu cards, and champagne flutes.
- Review final set-up before guest arrival.
* Ceremony
- Manage all event cues.
* Reception
- Cue musicians, photographers, and immediate family members of the Bride and Groom when important events take place at reception (i.e. first dance, parent dances, cake cutting, and toasts).
- Remain easily accessible through the entire event to assist Bride and Groom as needed.
- Distribute final payments/gratuities to vendors.
- Oversee breakdown and clean up of the event.
- Coordinate reception departure transportation and/or send-off.
