FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on the length of time for each lesson and paid monthly. Lessons can be scheduled weekly or biweekly. - 30 minute lessons - $30.00 - 45 minute lessons - $40.00 - (Most Popular) - 60 minute lessons - $50.00 Please note that there is a technology fee of $5 per month for lessons done remotely. This covers the costs of the tech I use.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually students book a 30 minute interview lesson with me before signing on for a monthly package. This gives us a chance to see if we are a good fit, and for me to learn about the skill level of each student so that I can build a student-centered plan specifically designed for their learning.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a bachelor's degree in Music Composition from the University of Rhode Island. My primary instrument was voice and I studied for 5 years with Rene de la Garza as my instructor. In order to provide a better service for my clients I returned to school to become a Certified Professional Life Coach. My focus was helping students become more confident in their abilities so they could enjoy performing. I also hold a Master's Degree in Education with a specialization in instructional design and technology, allowing me to use technology-enhanced teaching methods with my students as well as establish a curriculum based on a neurological understanding of learning and a knowledge of how the preferences, backgrounds, and goals of each student impacts their learning process.
