FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If hired by an organization for an event to paint, please provide an accurate number or estimate of faces to be painted so I can provide an accurate estimate of time needed for the job. Because I want my customers to be happy, I often over stay my paid time to finish the line. It is helpful for me to have support (you) when time is up and I'm closing my line. My time has value and as such, I ask to be compensated for any additional time spent painting past my paid cut-off time. *For events located beyond our 25 mile home base of Providence, a $30 travel charge will be charged for each subsequent 25 miles. Gratuity is appreciated!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With texting, emails and phone as our means of communication it's so easy to communicate! I can also meet with you in person to discuss details. Once we have confirmed your event, I will email you an agreement that explains my services. Just look it over, fill it out, sign it and send it back!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Keeping busy with painting faces is the best way to gain experience. Every face painted helps me improve a little bit more. I also head to YouTube to watch instructional videos on new designs, on how to manage my business, and how to improve on what I already know. Playing with the paints in my free time always helps too. lastly, I attend conventions specifically held for face painters which are unbelievably fun and great learning experiences.
