I had the absolute pleasure of hiring Paige Gilbert for a special event, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. The menu was tailored perfectly to our preferences and dietary needs, and every dish was a masterpiece. The flavors were bold and perfectly balanced, showcasing a deep understanding of culinary techniques and fresh Farm to table MA & RI ingredients. Each course was presented beautifully, and the attention to detail was evident in every bite. What truly stood out, though, was Paige's ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We had a friend’s birthday dinner in Portsmouth, RI a few weeks ago and Paige was our private chef. She was super accommodating with food suggestions and helped to build a menu to suit the needs of 14 people. The night of the event, Paige was prompt and created a delicious 3 course meal, we were so impressed! Definitely would hire Paige if ever in RI again!

My dinner party with Chef Gilbert was nothing short of SPECTACULAR. She created a wonderful menu that featured all of my dinner party guest of honor’s favorite foods, paired with lovely seasonal items. On the day of, it was clear that Chef Gilbert is a true professional who has technical training as well as creative eye and passion for her craft. Our five course dinner was truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. A group favorite was the fresh catch that was perfectly seared, tender, with a creamy and light sauce that was so good it was drinkable. Another star of the show was the pork chop (requested by the guest of honor) that was perfectly seared, moist, and complimented by a sweet and tangy orange reduction sauce. I almost never even like pork chops but this one was fantastic, so much so that I devoured my entire chop and all accompanying sauce. Chef Gilbert also included a palette cleanser of cucumber mint sorbet that was, no lie, the best sorbet I’ve ever had (and this is coming from a woman who spent four months studying in Rome). The food quality, execution and value, as well as the uniqueness of the experience make Chef Gilbert the best of her industry, and someone I will absolutely be hiring again in the future.
