FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a sliding scale based on how much you are spending for your wedding. I suggest 5% of what you are spending on your wedding. One woman paid me $1500 and I told the wedding consultant that was obscene. She told me that the hand painted Menu Cards were from Bolivia and cost $2500. I said, "I got less than the menu cards!" Please don't pay me less than the menu cards!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with a couple to make sure they connect with me and to offer them all the options that are available. I give them a list of the possibilities and have them think about them for a while. We then get together again to plan out their wedding. I then craft it, share it with them, and then we are ready for the rehearsal and Wedding. I will do marriage counseling if desired, but it is not required.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an ordained baptist minister, but more importantly, have spent 33 years doing weddings. I have learned a lot over those years and look forward to learning even more over the next 33 years.
