I offer REMOTE and IN PERSON tutoring. I My students consistently have outstanding results after tutoring with me and I am happy to share references upon request. Teaching and tutoring are our passion. We offer a free consultation to our clients and tutor most academic subjects grades six through college level. We have been tutoring test prep for over ten years with over twenty years of general tutoring experience. We absolutely love tutoring!! Do you need proof reading for your college essay applications? Our work stands out as we are able to draw from our vast experience teaching/tutoring students and we excel at tailoring test prep and academic tutoring to the student's individual learning style. We are adept at utilizing differentiated instruction. We are extremely excited to share that 99% of our students after tutoring for twelve weeks have gained on average at least 200 points on the SAT. For the ACT the results are also remarkable- with gains of 3-4 points on average. We have designed our own strategies for the Science section on the ACT and the Reading and Writing/Language sections for both the ACT and the SAT. Our study guide is tailored to each student and provides an additional layer of understanding to increase students' test scores. One of our students went up two points on the Science section of the ACT after only one hour of tutoring. My associate and I are available to prep you for other tests as well including the SSAT, ISEE, TEAS, Accuplacer and HSAT.

Kathie was great to work with. She was very professional and was very flexible with working out a schedule with us. My daughter enjoyed her sessions and Kathie made them engaging. She checked in with both my daughter and myself in between tutoring session to see how she was doing and if there was anything she need to work on specifically at her next session. She tutoedr her for SAT's and her score increased greatly! We asked Kathie to stay on and Tutor her for ACT's as well. We do not have results back yet but I will update. Kathie was a pleasure to work with she didn't just tutor my daughter she got to know her. My daughter enjoyed going to her sessions and she said she felt it really helped her prepare and feel comfortable the day of the test.

My process is to have a telephone interview to ask specific questions about the student. If we feel we are a good match, I create a personalized plan.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
My Mom was a professional dancer, teacher, and a choreographer. As a young adult I began teaching dance to beginner students. This teaching evolved to academic subjects and the story continues!
