FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies on type of project, distance, design, size of home, and materials selected.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
From the first phone call you speak the owner directly. We get to know more about your project and schedule a time for me to come out. I will take pictures, measurements and usually leave you with an estimate, unless a custom design has to be made. After contract signing, we order materials that get delivered to your home and schedule the installers. Please see our website to learn more about our process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the construction industry all my life. From 11 years old, I was working full time with my dad on his 2nd job. At 14, I was a professional carpenter. I graduated at 15 and did 2 years of college to become a financial advisor, while working in sales for andersen windows and sales for a lumber. After 2 years of college, I was offered a cost engineer job. Expecting my fist kid, I agreed to become a cost engineer. After noticing my experience in many construction fields & knowledge of materials, I was promoted to a project manager. I was very successful but it was my life. I spent 16 hours a day in the office. Finding out that we are expecting twins, i knew that this job would not be possible for me. Asking for a raise and less hours did not work. However, my ex boss did always tell me that he wished he knew all the things i know at my age and that i have a bright future being a project manager. Just married, twins coming up, and my own boss is telling me he wishes he knew what i do... So I did continue my project managing career, just for my own company.
