FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes and No. I do base my pricing off of many factors. Time of shooting, equipment cost, time editing, assistant pay, travel, location fee like studio rental (if needed, on location saves money for the client) Photo albums, printing or digital copies. I try to work with Clients the best I can within their budget. I also offer deals and specials.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet in person at a coffee place that is convenient for both parties. There I would go over the contracts and any expectations the client has. That way i get a chance to meet you before we shoot so i can prepare more efficiently.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to a commercial based college in Pittsburgh pa for photography. I gained four years rolled into 3 year round of knowledge in the craft. Graduated with a Bachelors of Science. While I was in college I worked 3 years as an assistant photographer for game day photos with the Pittsburgh Steelers. After graduation i moved to Rhode Island where I obtained a Product photography job shooting for an online shoe distribution company. After 3 years I got a new job working for a Studio in Boston shooting Products for some major clients in the fashion industry. However, I decided to move back to Pennsylvania to be closer to family, where i currently work as a Studio Manager for a Ecom Product photography company working with major organic food companies. I take portraits and weddings on the side. While in Rhode Island I had the pleasure and fortune to work with Amanda Morgan photography and Andrea Jay photography LLC, who taught me a great deal and their work is amazing. I recommend them if your looking for a photographer in the New England area.
