Now for the boring stuff that Thumbtack makes us put about our Thumbtack specific policies If you're thinking about reaching out to us and you're not the owner of the property, don't. If you're just trying to price shop, don't. We do not service tenants or "tire kickers". Despite claiming that they're upfront, Thumbtack is not transparent about their practices. Thumbtack makes their money by charging us and we get charged the moment you reach out to us. If you're not interested in having us come out and take a look at what's going on, save yourself the time and us our money. You have 48hrs to respond back to us. All non responses or failure to follow policies will be invoiced at least the amount we were charged by Thumbtack. We value your time and strive to provide prompt and efficient services. Please provide us with 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to adjust our technicians’ schedules and allocate their time to other clients. For cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, customer will be charged at least the amount we were charged by Thumbtack. These policies helps us maintain our quality of service and availability to our clients. We understand emergencies can and do occur, so we consider such situations on a case-by-case basis. There is a possibility of waiving the fee.
