FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The value of my pieces are based on the design, materials, and labor needed to bring the creation to life. I will work with you to determine the best materials for your budget. To provide an initial quote the more information I know the better. Have a picture or sketch of your design? Submit it with your request. Know the size of diamond(s) or gemstone(s) you like? Include that in your message. Of course, if you aren't sure of these, I will work with you to find the best options.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to gain an understanding of what the client is looking for. Many clients have pictures or sketches of what they want their ring or jewelry piece to look like. These are very helpful. If you don't have a picture, no worries. We can discuss the design for me to get a better understanding. Once I know the design and desired materials, I will provide an estimate. After your acceptance of the estimate, I kindly ask for a deposit due to the custom nature of the piece. You will then receive a CAD rendering or picture of a wax model to suggest edits or approve the design. It usually is 2 to 3 weeks after the design approval to craft the finished piece. A complex design may take longer. I will let you know the estimated time for delivery when your order is placed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years of experience in the jewelry industry. I have learned a lot during over these years, and I am excited when I learn something new. I have experience in designing jewelry, working with clients, and the business end of things.
