FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing structure is designed to offer flexibility and value for our customers. We charge $25 for a 30-minute walk or drop-in service, $35 for 45 minutes, and $45 for 60 minutes. This pricing applies to both walks and drop-in visits, ensuring consistent and transparent rates for our services. For households with multiple dogs, there is an additional charge of $5 per additional dog to accommodate their needs. During holidays, we implement a holiday surcharge of $15 per visit to account for increased demand and operational costs. We believe in providing fair and competitive pricing while maintaining the highest standards of care for your pets.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process for working with a new customer begins with a complimentary consultation or meet and greet. During this initial meeting, we take the time to get to know the pet and their specific needs, as well as address any questions or concerns the owner may have. This allows us to ensure that we can provide the best possible care and tailor our services to meet the unique requirements of each pet. Additionally, it gives the pet owner the opportunity to meet our team, see how we interact with their pet, and feel confident in our ability to care for their furry friend.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our background and expertise in animal care are rooted in hands-on experience and a deep passion for the well-being of animals. Tyler's journey began with a degree in criminal justice but quickly shifted as he discovered his true calling while volunteering at the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County. His role as a veterinary technician at the Butler County Humane Society provided valuable insights into animal care, ultimately leading him to establish Wandering Wags to make a direct impact on animal welfare. Destany's career in animal care started at Playful Pooch, where she quickly advanced to a managerial role. Seeking to broaden her knowledge, she joined the Butler County Humane Society as a veterinary technician, where she honed her skills and deepened her commitment to animal health. Together, our experiences have shaped us into a team dedicated to providing the highest level of care for your pets.
