Dave from Pittsburgh Area Handyman sanded, primed, and spray painted our front door in a beautiful black satin finish. We also needed some exterior trim around the door area repaired. Dave was VERY meticulous in every aspect of the projects involved. He always arrived on time, greeted us, explained what he was going to do, and left the work areas neat and clean when the jobs were done. David was very professional and did high quality work for some complex indoor installations. I had few Boaxel ikea book shelf installations, Frame TV mounting and multiple curtain rods including the Ikea track system. Everything was completed with precision and good recommendations overall for all questions. David had all necessary tools with him even when some of the installations required out of the box thinking. He stayed back even past dark to finish the work requires and was very respectful to our family with a baby at home. Highly recommend to use David for any work at your home!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is by project but occasionally hourly work is done for odds and ends jobs. Change controls are used to adjust pricing as needed if the scope is modified.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Determine the customer's needs to see if I am a fit. If I am not a fit I will not move forward. Typically we will scope the job, determine materials and work schedule, sign a contract outlining the expectations, accept down payment and then begin as scheduled. Payment schedules vary depending on the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20+ years of do-it-yourself rehabs, working with subs, reading books by Home Depot/B&D/etc. cover-to-cover, and YouTube.
