FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We typically charge separate rates for the preliminary hearing phase of prosecution and for higher court representation at the Court of Common Pleas. Since many of our cases resolve completely at the preliminary hearing, it would be unfair to charge a "full case" rate in those situations. For cases proceeding to the higher court, we will typically have a better idea about the trajectory of the case after your preliminary hearing, allowing us to quote an appropriate rate for ongoing representation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Call our office to speak directly with Attorney Zuckerman. We provide a free, confidential telephone consultation. During the conversation, we will provide a quote for services. If the new customer is interested in hiring our firm, we can accept payment by credit or debit card right over the telephone, or by any alternative payment method.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our attorneys take at least 12 credits (hours) of Continuing Legal Education courses every year as required by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Attorney Zuckerman has attended a national DUI seminar in Las Vegas sponsored by the National College for DUI Defense. Furthermore, we review Allegheny County court opinions and practice guides from the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Our attorneys are continually striving to learn as much as possible in order to provide the best service to clients.
