- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Weddings start at $550 and birthdays, graduations, holidays and corporate functions start at $350 for 3 hours. Optional equipment can be provided for additional costs. Travel fees may apply for extended travel of $150 for venues 1.5 hours away and $200 for 2.5 hours away.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Steel Millz Entertainment like to keep in contact with clients and be able to meet one on one at least once to go over initial details in person and give the client a chance to get a feel for me as their DJ. A contract will be signed by both parties and a deposit will be made to secure a date. We discuss a quick timeline and let the client know what information I need to help the event go smoothly. Business can be conducted by phone or email after our first meeting. I like to do a little bit of antics on the mic to loosen the mood and get people involved.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I try to keep up education on the equipment I use by attending expos and events in the area. Keeping up with trends and how to conduct business should always be considered.
