Angie Pastor is a gifted artist whose music, characterized by its delicate vulnerability and acoustic charm, resonates deeply with listeners. As a singer-songwriter, jazz vocalist, and guitarist, Angie’s fingerpicking style and intimate, lyrically narrative performances create a soundscape that is both tender and compelling. Angie performs for all sorts of events in NYC, NJ, and PA, working in any capacity from a solo vocal/guitar performance to one with a full band behind her. She’s been working as a bandleader for many years, working with pop, jazz, rock, folk, and musical theater. Angie’s musical journey began at an early age, enriched by her studies in the vocal jazz program at CCNY and four formative years with the Jazz Power Initiative. Her performances have graced esteemed NYC venues such as Birdland, The Bitter End, Dizzy’s Club - Jazz at Lincoln Center, Room 623, The National Jazz Museum in Harlem, The DiMenna Center, The United Palace, and Virgin Hotels, among many others. Angie has also held notable residencies as a bandleader and jazz singer at various hotels and restaurants, weddings and other events, and has been a cherished Sofar Sounds artist for three years, delighting audiences in over 40 shows.
