I hired Spray Away to powerwash two buildings, one 2-story stone and one 2-story with vinyl siding. Both buildings came out looking much cleaner, with lots of improved curb appeal. Spray Away gave me an accurate estimate, clearly communicated, worked with me on a tight schedule, helped prepare the property the morning of, provided insurance documentation, offered helpful advice on which areas of the property to focus on, arrived on time and as scheduled, and had friendly, helpful staff who did good work. Be prepared to replace or re-install some things that will inevitably be knocked off the house. The powerwashing of the stone building did knock out some mortar, blast some rock into sand and carry it away, and knock stones off. Needed to clean inside of a few doors where things were not sealed. Also be prepared to remove and replace your window screens.

Michele did a pretty good job in general. Prior to the actual workday we went over the areas and discussed what needed to be power washed. She was in agreement. When the day came things seemed to be going well. Then she asked me to go and look at the finished work. I asked about around the higher area, which requires a ladder. I wanted to know if she or the helper who was there for a short time was able to get that part that was discussed beforehand. She did not know. I asked if she could take care of that. She said she had a bad knee and would not get on the ladder. Perhaps if she had phoned the helper to verify this, but she did not. While I am sorry about her knee. She could have had all this straightened out with her helper. Also, as she was doing the power washing she pointed out another section of the sidewalk and said it should be done so as to give a clean look all around. I agreed and then she said she would charge an extra fifty dollars. The area was two sidewalk squares. I allowed it. What bothered me was she did not give me a satisfactory answer about cleaning the area outside the chimney, which included above ground. This area was discussed beforehand and should not have been a surprise. I was the one who got a surprise. Not a good way to do business.
