FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My initial, 30-minute consult is always free. This is a chance for you to share what's going on with you and for me to explain my process. If we agree to move forward, we make a plan to work together in a way that meets your needs and budget. My initial intake (1.5 hours) is on a sliding scale of $100-150 and ongoing check-ins (45 min) are $75-100.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process looks like this: 1. Intake To begin, we do a 1.5 hour intake where we review your health history and concerns together. I listen, I ask many questions, and I don’t interrupt! In this way, we begin to unfold your health story. I also learn about what you want, and about the unique strengths you bring to the world. This forms the basis of your Wellness Vision. 2. Make a Plan Together, we make a concrete plan for addressing what you want, and improving your condition. This plan includes a Wellness Vision, 3-month goals, and weekly goals. My coaching is “integrative” because we use many modalities to coax your body back towards health, including food, herbal medicine, movement, stress reduction, improved sleep and more. I will make sure our plan aligns with information from other health providers, including medications and test results. A good plan is one that is coordinated, doable and feels right to you. 3. Test it & Tweak it This is the heart of our work together. In my approach, a health plan is not static, but something that must respond to your changing needs. It is accomplished step by step and with commitment. We meet weekly for 45 minute sessions to set “SMART goals.” Each week, we build on what works and throw out what doesn’t. In this way, progress is tangible, real and suited to your life.
