FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer Labor-Only services, Truck Tools and Labor Services, Packing and Unpacking, perform Haul-out/Clean-outs and related services. Labor Only rates are booked at a minimum 2 hours and are $25/manhour. You may request anywhere from 1-5 workers. Most clients start out with 2 workers for 2 hours ($100) and add additional time as needed. Half Service Truck Tools and Labor service begins as low as $189! This covers two movers for one hour with an extra large pickup truck and is best for ultra small city moves with very little or no furniture. Full Service Truck Tools and Labor service begins at $289 and covers two workers and a box truck sized for your move for the first two hours followed by $45 for each subsequent half hour block. Half and Full Service moves include all tools needed to complete the job including plastic wrap, blankets, disassembly/reassembly equipment etc. It includes everything needed to relieve all of the potential stress of a standard move and frees you from having to worry about hiring trucks, renting tools or finding helpers. Haul outs and Clean outs can start as low as $100 but tend to be priced from $120-$250 and up. The amount and type of material and distance from where we can park to where the items to be disposed of are some of the variables that can lower or raise the price of a haul-out.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We ask a few basic questions to ascertain the size, scope and approximate cost of your project. We then like to receive your email address to send out our information sheet in questionnaire format. The responses to this usually allow us to provide a very accurate estimate. We like to send another message the day before the scheduled move/other project to confirm, then confirm again via phone before we leave on the day of the move.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Formal education as a computer network administrator, graduating from the Computer Network Administration Program of my Vo-Tech high school. Afterwards I attended college for several semesters until finances and disillusionment with paying for loans made me feel too financially insecure to continue. Early jobs in retail at a car auto shop and at Best Buy as a Geek Squad Agent taught me a lot about customer service. Most importantly I learned the core differences between good and poor service. The retail environment was a perfect arena for me to develop the techniques that now allow me consistently deliver solutions to customer problems that are affordable to the client and yet also profitable enough to the business to ensure employees are paid well and the business stays running.
