I do one-on-one and group lessons. Aside from giving regular language lessons, I also train students in conversation and even provide them with the experience of total immersion. If someone wants to travel to Italy, teach the vary basic how to ask directions, talk with a waiter, and so forth. I also talk about different cuisine.

Working with Magda for the past six months has made all the difference in my listening and speaking of the language. She is a generous, patient, and creative teacher who knows the subject thoroughly and makes the lessons interesting and fun. And beyond this, it is just a pleasure to converse with her. Her intimate understanding of how the language is really used can't really be found in a book and she has a gift for knowing what a student needs and for presenting the information in a way that is most useful for the student. I spent about 9 months prior to working with Magda working on my own, and although I could read and write a bit, it was necessary to begin these lessons to get a true grasp of the spoken language. Can't go wrong here and you'll have fun. I can't recommend enough, that if you're considering an Italian class, to check out classes with Magda.

Magda is a fantastic Italian teacher. She's a native Italian speaker with an excellent mastery of English, and a thoughtful and flexible method. She knows the material, and she knows how to teach it. As she got to know me, I could see her adjusting her methods to adapt to my level (lower- advanced) and learning style. Her personable and good-natured style make her easy to work with. I would strongly recommend Magda for anyone from the total beginner to the advanced student looking for conversational practice. Magda's rate is good, and her abilities and work ethic make her lessons an excellent value. It is obvious that she loves teaching Italian, and her enthusiasm is matched by her talent and professionalism. I'm lucky to have found her. Highly, highly recommended.
