I hired this father-son duo to paint my basement. They did the job but it was some of the worst quality work I've ever seen from painters (and I've done many projects). They didn't properly remove any of the face plates or fixtures, opting to paint around them, and usually without tape. This was even though I specifically told them to remove everything and to tape everything up properly. I saw they weren't doing that but was unable to address any concerns with them because only the father was present but he speaks almost no English. I then removed the fixtures myself, despite his protests. This issue then manifested itself again in all edges and corners, which were done very poorly and by hand, with no tape. The most egregious part of this was that they were supposed to do two layers but clearly only did one on many parts. You could still see through the paint. When I highlighted this, the father kept claiming there were 2 coats, but again the language barrier made it nearly impossible to address any issues. I'm not sure why he lied about that, since I monitored the project and saw only 1 coat being applied, with no time being given for it to dry for a 2nd application. The paint is splotchy and just missing on much of the trim. I would highly recommend avoiding these guys unless you have a cheap rental or something where you really don't care about the quality. These guys are less expensive than others...but you get what you pay for...
