Nhan and his team were great to work with. We had two types of flooring in our house - some rooms were pine plank subfloor that had been refinished a decade ago, others were mid-century oak tongue-and-groove. We weren't sure what kind of results we would get when we took out the tongue-and-groove, since it couldn't be refinished again, and lo and behold, the subfloor underneath was water damaged, stained, smelly and darkened. It looked BAD. Nhan is a guy who understands his trade. He wasn't sure he couldn't make it look right again, and there would always be "bruising" from the tongue-and-groove laid on soft pine. But we said "go for it", and Nhan - for like $3/sqft - sanded all of those floors to a beautiful tone and even flatness, repaired splintered boards and plugged knotholes, and thoroughly scraped down the stairs and corners. The results speak for themselves. Well done, Nhan and team.
