Marquita did a fantastic job designing the backdrop for my daughter's baby shower. The colors worked well with our "little pumpkin" theme. And she was punctual and very carefully set up the backdrop. We took many pictures using it. My guests were delighted! I would highly recommended Marquita to anyone who needs a special balloon backdrop for their party.

Had my sons 1st birthday party here, and working with the owner was awesome! She was readily available with any questions I had. I was having trouble finding a good bounce house vendor and she recommended a few that regularly set up at the hall, and I did end up booking one of them. Huge space, kitchen for warming up food and keeping ice frozen if need be. All the tables and chairs was set up. She was so great to work with. Only 2 downsides is its a lot of steps to walk up, and parking on the street is tricky BUT she holds a parking spot directly out front for the person throwing the party. Her friendliness and professionalism made me overlook the steps and parking, not to mention you get a 2hr set up time, when most places only gives you 1hr. Definitely recommend this venue for any type of event.

We threw a random family gathering event at this venue. The space is very large and has a full kitchen - which we really needed. The owner is very friendly and professional - she was a pleasure to work with. We will be booking events with The Pike again.

This was my first time at The Pike events venue and it is a big space to hold a good amount of people. Plenty of room to decorate any way you like.The actual event space is upstairs so be mindful that there are a lot of steps to walk up.The downside of this location is that trying to find parking is absolutely horrible. The main cross road had a good amount of parking but on the street of the venue, none.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have packages available and can also customize a package that will fit your budget and needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do a free 30min virtual consultation where we will discuss your budget, event location and date, guest count and other logistics. Once finalized, you will receive a proposal and pay the deposit. Once the deposit is paid and contract is signed, I will start working on your event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors degree in Communications and Media Arts. I have also taken classes taught by event professionals.
