- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of our pricing is custom packaged based, when you contact us and get a quote for a particular service it is inclusive of set-up, tear down, travel, and fees. Our pricing is very competitive to other services in the region. We do offer a Military and First Responders Discount, and since our owner is a BSA Eagle Scout, we do offer an Eagle Scout Discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We pride ourselves on being super detail oriented. We believe collaborating with you and properly processing all of your details on the back end helps us better convert your ideas from just being thoughts on paper into an amazing party. Let’s chat and get to know each other. Here’s where we sit down and kickoff a collaborative session to discuss what’s important to you and how we can be a good fit. We love to do a ton of listening so we can really understand your vision and explore the services that would help best complement your style. Once you lock in your date with us, your talent will be assigned to your event right away. No bait and switch games here. We’re honored that you’ve chosen us to be your event entertainment and we’re here to make this the best possible experience for you. This is where we’ll discuss the next steps and get you set up with our planning tools so that you can organize your ideas, music selections, and other formalities. We do an in-depth planning session with you 2 months before your big day. This is when we’ll review and personalize your announcements, special events, mix of music, and the overall “vibe” you envision for the day. We even let you in on some cool, creative tips that will help you through the final stages of the planning and the party itself… this way you can simply show up and enjoy with your family and friends not having to worry about a thing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ambient Event Groups President & Owner Andrew Sundstrom-Smith has been doing this type of work professionally for over a decade at this point. His educational background is in Music Production, Music Business, and Technical Theater. He has had training in all aspects of the business as well. He has trained with and been apart of many quality companies in the past, and has taken that knowledge and stepped it up with Ambient Event Group.
