FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Choose quality. We have all heard the saying "you get what you pay for". I am not often one to sell myself, but this is one area I know well. My rate includes research/planning, onsite organization, and removal of items to deliver to recycle and donation centers. I charge based on my time on-site, and behind the scenes before and after are on me. I also offer virtual decluttering sessions as well. This is an investment of freeing up space and time to make room for inner peace.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The timeline is based on your comfort level. I offer free no-obligation in-home and virtual consultations. We can also discuss your project details via a phone call and photos can be sent through text messages. After viewing the space, an estimate of time will be shared and we can schedule a time that works best for your schedule. Some of my clients want me to organize what they have first without participating and then it is easier for them (or us) to thin out. Other people prefer to work with me and we declutter as we go. That is more time consuming, but the project ends up being completed rather than having to revisit the area. I do whatever works best for you! I always clean the area as I am working and leave your space with a finished look. Furthermore, I will remove all unwanted items and sort them on the backend to recycle, donate, and/or possibly sell.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent years creating easy living spaces for my family and myself. As a teacher and a mom, I kept clutter-free, organized, manageable spaces for children (mine included), and I taught effortless, lifelong organizational skills.
