FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price by the job, not by the hour. I don't have standard pricing because every job is so different. I will work within your budget, we can tailor a plan that works well for both of us.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to discuss via email or phone exactly what the client is looking for, preferably seeing some samples or inspiration photos of the style the would prefer the art in. Once we've determined that my style will work for the clients needs we can discuss price if it has not already been determined and what is expected from me. At this point I will send my contract and depending on the fee I collect half or one third and then the work begins! I will never let someone walk away unhappy, and I give my all to every project, large or small.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in Illustration from the University of the Arts. I've worked professionally designing and illustrating craft kits, paper dolls, coloring books, instruction manuals, puzzles and packaging. I've done production design for the Journeys Catalogue. I have freelanced for the past two years doing murals in children's bedrooms, schools and libraries. I also do wedding invitations and commissioned work.
