I'm an award winning Magician, Balloon Twister, Clown, and Santa. Having over 30 years experience as an entertainer has given me the skills to provide characters and entertainment for any event or occasion. I've worked in local TV, radio, and theater in Wisconsin, Minnesota, New York, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. I was a magic consultant for the movie "Drawing Down the Moon". We originally booked Jerry for a birthday party with 20 kids and 40 adults unfortunately the weather did not hold out so we moved into the house and only 20 people came with 6 kids. This did not deter Jerry from making the best of the situation. He not only was wonderful with the kids but also the adults had a great time with him. He arrived early to set up and stayed late. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a clown, balloon artist or magician.

Jerry did an amazing job as a magician dressed as a clown! I HIGHLY recommend him for your next event. He kept kids of all ages 3-16 occupied with a magic show for well over an hour and half. To me that's impressive. Even adults at our party were raving about him. Thank you Jerry! You made our event a memory we will never forget!

I hired Jerry as a magician for an annual Mardi Gras charity event benefitting the Humane Society of Schuyler County. After he responded to my Thumbtack ad, I checked out his profile page and talked with him on the phone. He was professional and courteous, and he knew how to work the mostly adult crowd. He wasn't intrusive, but he was congenial and able to visit many (if not all) of the tables at the event. He won over even the most skeptical critics (teenagers) with his tricks and personality. We had many people exclaim how great an idea it was having a magician at a Mardi Gras event. I have to admit, we can't wait to invite him back next year. Jerry is a very talented magician. He made a great impression with our guests and is extremely versatile. We were a mostly adult party but everyone enjoyed his magic and the kids also enjoyed the balloons. I tried to book Jerry again for another date in a month but he was busy so if you want a great Magician don't delay or you will miss him!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a base price for the things I offer. I then factor in what gas, tolls, and parking will run. I also factor in driving time.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start by having a consultation with the client to get as much information about the event in order to tailor a program to fit their needs. Once I'm booked for an event, I like to send an invoice/contract through Paypal. I then require a deposit.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started performing by singing at church events while still in elementary school. I started in magic when my mother bought "The Cub Scout Book Of Magic" for my 10th birthday.
