I have many rental properties and so have dealt with a number of contractors over decades.
Aaron ( owner of Polar Solar) did such a good job of replacing my existing HVAC that I have no hesitation in rating him above and beyond my experience with typical experienced HVAC and other skills contractors.
Not only work, but his attitude and ethical way of delivering the work, makes him a trustworthy contractor to hire without hesitation! I’ll work with him again as needed and would recommend considering Aaron for your HVAC needs.

Our previous maintenance company has been telling us for a couple of years that we need to replace our entire HVAC system. They gave us an expensive quote to replace the system. I wanted a second opinion and contacted Aaron at Polar Solar. He was very responsive and after I sent him some pictures of my system, he came to assess. He told us that, although our system was old, it was working properly so far and did not need to be replaced right now. He also gave us a quote to replace the whole system to be prepared in case the system failed, and his quote was much cheaper than our previous company's. His price for the tune-up inspections for fall and spring was also more affordable than our previous company. He was entirely transparent about the process and took the time to answer all my questions. Solar Polar is a small company that tries to give a fair price to its customers. I would recommend them to anyone.

Working with Aaron was such a pleasure. We had finished our basement about a year ago and was relying on space heaters to keep the space warm when hanging out there at night. We often just wore jackets. When Aaron came out to provide a bid, his depth of knowledge about mini split HVACs was quickly obvious. He gave his recommendation based upon the space that we needed to warm and his price was more than competitive compared to another bid we received. When we wanted to ensure that we had Wi-Fi capability so we could control the unit when away from home, he was able to quickly adapt his proposal to accommodate that. I also liked that Aaron wanted to be sure that we both had signed copies of the proposal before any money changed hands. Working with a contractor for the first time, this gave me confidence in moving forward. Aaron kept me updated on the status of the order and then scheduled for the following work day once the unit came in. He and his colleague spent the day installing the unit and I hardly even noticed they were there. Above and beyond the quality of the work, Aaron is also just a really nice guy. I would definitely recommend Aaron and Polar Solar to anyone looking to install and mini-split HVAC.

I recently had the pleasure of having Aaron install 5 mini-splits in my home, and I couldn't be more satisfied with his service. From start to finish, Aaron demonstrated exceptional punctuality, professionalism, and a commitment to perfection that truly sets him apart.
During the installation process, Aaron encountered an issue with one of the units. Instead of simply passing the problem back to us, he took the initiative to contact the manufacturer and resolved the issue efficiently. Not only did he handle the troubleshooting, but he also assisted us in obtaining the necessary inside unit, showcasing his dedication to ensuring everything was done right.
Aaron's attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond was evident throughout the entire process. The four units that have been installed are working perfectly, and I have no doubt that the final unit will be just as flawless once installed.
Aaron has promised to return for the installation of the remaining unit, and I have full confidence that he will complete the job to the same high standard. I will certainly update this review once the final installation is done.
