FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Local moving rates are based upon a hourly rate + transportation fee. The hourly rate is the price for a truck and guys. The transportation fee is the price for materials, fuel, distance, time. Both these rates vary depending on the size and location of the job. The best way to get an accurate quote is to inquiry about your move with a representative. After we understand the magnitude of the job, you will be able to receive a crystal clear quote. Long Distance Move (Over 50 miles) are based upon the weight / size of the job. The best way to receive an accurate quote for a long distance move, is to schedule an on-site estimate where one of our representatives comes out and does a walk through with the customer to understand the exact nature and needs of the customer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start by providing the customer a quote. In order to give an accurate quote, I will ask them what type of furniture they are moving and find out if there are any out-of-the ordinary pieces that require special attention. I will try to gather as much information as possible to ensure I am properly prepared for the situation. Sometimes this will include an on site estimation of the house. After a quote is given the customer will then decide if they want to hire me or not. The last step is the easiest. You just sit back and do your best to relax and allow me to do all the hard work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
14 years experience in the moving industry with close to 3000 moves performed. My crew members each have at least 10 years experience moving. I take pride in my crew and we work hard to ensure a safe, and comfortable moving experience.
