FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have calculations which help me determine the price of your whole house inspection. Type of heating, plumbing, and utility supply factor in. In addition, I take into account the size of the home, and its age. The condition of the home really doesn't matter, since I am inspecting the home, regardless of its condition. Every home is different in some way.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once the client has made contact with me, I like to find out as much information about their home as possible. I explain what I do, and explain all the services that I provide. I communicate and work with my client. The key is to make sure that there are no surprises and everything goes smoothly and professionally. I have a written agreement, as well as a code of ethics and standard of practice, which is provided in writing. All inspections are formally documented and presented to the client in an easy to read format. My services do not stop with the inspection. I can provide a 11 month follow up as well, if so desired. My main objective, is to make sure that my client knows everything about their new house. Open and honest dialog is a must. If needed a home buy back policy is also available.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an extensive resume. I have 30 years of Construction Administration and building experience. I have built and have inspected commercial, as well as residential. I am professionally trained and certified through Internachi. I attended Delaware technical college, and the University of Delaware for a Construction Management degree. I am the owner of EAGLE EYE HOME AND PROPERTY INSPECTIONS, LLC.,as well being the District Superintendent for Deldot. I have not only managed the construction, and inspected infrastructure, facilities, and bridges, I have literally performed hundreds of inspection and construction management projects, during my career.
