FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer all new clients a free no obligation consultation visit. We get together, talk about your pet and the care needed. It's important to share health and behavior issues with your sitter and to share your expectations. Not all sitters offer the same services - some provide visits based on time, others based on the number of pets and the level of care needed. It's important that the sitter and owner understand each other's expectations so the pet is comfortable and happy. The best little extra is offering clients, especially those who have never used a sitter before, my free daily text/photo updates. It is that extra reassurance owners love knowing their pet is cared for and happy! The first time you refer someone to me you will receive %10 off the next time you use my services. There is a extra fee for Holidays.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process working with new clients is to get together to do a at home free consultation. That way we can get to know each other and meet your family member/pet. We will also discuss the dates you will need my services. From there we see if I am a good fit to take care of your animal. We will go over what is needed for example, pet walking, sitting for a few hours or overnight stay. From there we can discuss payment arrangements and any other concerns.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I volunteered at a Greyhound rescue to help give those wonderful dogs time out of those awful cages. I enjoyed giving them some exercise by taking them on long walks to stretch their long legs 😀 I grew up with all different types of animals my whole life. I have experience in walking, feeding, administering medicine, trimming nails and brushing some pets teeth. I also trained pets to behave and listen.
