Chris Yutzey, owner and coach of CY Fit, will help you follow through with healthy action steps each day so that you can actually stick with a fitness routine. Consistent healthy habits every day, no matter how small, will add up and begin to create changes in the body. The areas of focus that will be coached to help you gain energy, lose weight, or increase strength include sleep, food, physical movement, supplements, medications, and your mindset. It’s not about changing everything all at once, it’s about learning what interests you, what changes you can make, deciding where to start, and building from there. Improving these areas of life and making these tasks flow with an already busy day is how you create success.
Working with Chris as a health coach and an exercise instructor will help you look at your time in a new way. Strategies will be created that actually allow you to make the changes you truly want. It’s likely that many want to make positive changes in their life but a lot of obstacles or priorities can get in the way of anything actually happening. Often, people get started on an exercise or nutrition journey and maybe find themselves doing too much at once. To see real results, it actually comes down to small improvements, done repeatedly, and refined over time. Those little steps should be adjusted if they are not working, helping to create a truly enjoyable routine that makes you want to continue. Usually, people know what to do to make changes, such as increasing their sleep, meditating, more exercise, or a better diet. When a busy work schedule, family, travel, world events, and media use up our time or gets us off track, it’s hard to stay accountable to a program that doesn’t adapt to a changing lifestyle.
Many people have physical/mental aches, pains, illness, or other issues that are a struggle to live with. This makes the areas of sleep, exercise, or an improved diet, a bigger challenge compared to others. Often, it's hard to know where to start, along with the inspiration and motivation it takes to keep consistently going. Plus, every time you get going, that physical pain or mentality to quit, slowly starts to show up. Everyone has done it but it becomes a lot easier to fall out of a good routine when there are too many pains, no results are being seen, and nothing about the process is fun.
Some people are fitness enthusiasts and others are not so enthusiastic about fitness. One thing we all have in common is that everybody has their own level of “feeling healthy.” We all have to take care of our physical body and mind. When people run out of “health” and are feeling “ill” most of the time, people will do whatever it takes to feel better again. Often, medications, surgeries, and other medical procedures are a last resort to try to fix a problem after it has already occurred. Sadly, issues with your physical and mental health become too big to fix and the cost can be deadly.
The true way to overcome many illnesses, constantly feeling tired, feeling physically weak, is to make a proactive effort to change your habits and tendencies. It’s easier to combat the health challenges in life by making changes before things get too bad. This is about a better way of life. Small action steps, completed each day, that actually create energy, improve strength, relieve stress, or provide a sense of overall well-being, can be so valuable, you won't want to go back to an old way of living. Obviously, life will still throw you curveballs, or give you lemons and there are situations that are inevitable. Science has always shown that you can make a change, at any moment in life, to begin to feel better and improve your quality of life.
Everything in the universe is constantly changing, growing, expanding, and adapting, so why do people think they are different and get stuck in the same place for so long?
Why do people say they don’t have time for “health and wellness,” but then one day, they WILL HAVE TO MAKE TIME for illness?
Why don’t people invest their money into preventative health and wellness strategies, when it is so much cheaper than trying to fix an illness?
If you don’t feel good in your body, if you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, and if you want to truly get started on a path to a better life…it is so much easier to start than you think!
