FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is of course determined by scope of work. However, when my customers are getting multiple estimates, I am always the guy that is in the middle somewhere which is where I want to be. I am rarely going to be the cheapest because the cheapest is reserved for those that have a poorer quality of workmanship, unreliable, unprofessional, uses the cheapest paint that will fade fast, and no warranty. This is not my model of business. But, we are also not overpriced for the quality of work we deliver. Don't take my word for it though. Go see our Google Reviews and you will understand.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
From the first point of contact we are nothing but professional, be it contact from myself the owner, another manager, or my admin team. We will set you up with a date and time for an estimate and then you get a booking reminder via text and email. Once I am onsite, we discuss your scope of work and then I build a digital estimate while I am there which I then go through with you in detail. You also of course get emailed that estimate before I leave your location. The estimate backs up everything we will do for you and for what the price is for the work effort. This is far and away different a "cocktail napkin" type of estimate or just a verbal, both of which are meaningless. Following that estimate I get you booked for the work based on our collective schedule. I meet the customer and my crew onsite when the work begins to step through everything with both parties. This ensures a smoother process and provides a comfort level for everyone.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My father was a coal miner. He was laid off when I was in high school. It was a very traditional family and I worked with my father to help bring in income. We did electrical, plumbing, siding, roofing, decking, painting, etc. The bottom line is that I grew up doing it and learning to do it right. I then went to college and had a business career. Ultimately I got tired of corporate and went back to my roots, albeit as a paint company owner. I have combined my knowledge of the technical work with my business professionalism and savvy to create an experience for the customer that sits a level above every other painter in the area. Does it make us expensive? Hell no. I came from a small town. I provide reasonable pricing for higher quality work and the Google Reviews show it.
