Lou is an awesome guitar teacher. He is a Berklee-trained jazz guitar master, but very down-to-earth in his approach to teaching. He prods but never pushes TOO hard. And his passion for jazz guitar always picks me up!

There is literally no one like Lou Pompilio, as a musician, professor, musicologist, or a mentor. Not only is his musical knowlege unmet and unsurpassed, but his ability to "read" the psyche of his students borders on mystical. He deeply knows the unique style (and future style) of his students which enables him to be a guide, sherpa, and supporter like none other.
There is only one professor to study with, Maestro Lou Pompilio.
