My special focus is relationships, especially couples work. I Help couples break out of negative cycles they are caught in so they can learn ways to solve problems together, communicate more effectively, and work out differences. Couples will be able to communicate what they think feel, want, and believe without engaging in conflict. If you are unsure about working on your relationship, Discernment Counselling can help couples make decisions about divorce. It is great to see people be able to re-claim their strengths and direct them in a more specific and satisfying way. Couples are able to re-create their relationship and learn to work together to work and learn to appreciate differences. One client told me recently that she finds she is able to think about her options before she reacts and that was really great to see her progress!
