Specializing in ragtime and stride, along with jazz, standards, and the great American song book, we can perform as either a solo, duo, or trio. We're available for your next party, celebration, or corporate event in Northeast Pennsylvania and beyond. Overboard Stride Society was founded by pianist Oliver Blatt. With a love of ragtime, stride, and all things feel-good music, Oliver has performed across the country, including Las Vegas, New York City, Washington DC and more. With training in both Piano Performance and Theatre Arts, his unique skill-set allows him to effortlessly provide entertainment for a wide variety of events. Overboard Stride Society is available with just Oliver playing all your favorite rags and stride, or as a duo or full band. We're happy to work with you to provide the exact atmosphere for your next event. And don't worry about a piano! While we love playing a good, old-fashioned, piano (that's mostly in tune!) if you don't have a piano available, we are prepared with professional equipment to make you feel like you're listening to the real thing!
