FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price each job by looking at all the work to be done. I am not the cheapest nor the most expensive. I feel you get what you pay for, and long after the joy of a cheap price is forgotten the look of a poor job remains.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I talk to them to schedule an estimate and answer any early questions, then I show up at the appointment on the day and time arranged. Next we discuss the project, I measure, and give a written proposal for the work to be done. I am not a high pressure salesman. If we agree upon the price I schedule the work. I don’t use sub-contractors, all the work is performed by me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor degree, installation training from Armstrong Floors, Bruce Hardwood Company. Lead Renovator certificate.
