Very professional and knowledgeable to work with! It was easy to tell that Dan has done this many times. Not only did he build and employ our app in about one week, but he continued to work with us and help us learn how to market and promote our app to customers and leads. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not work for an hourly rate. All my projects are fee-based after we have a discussion(s) regarding the requirements. The minimum charge I have is $500 for a very simple app - however, many clients require a higher level of customization which leads to a higher price. Either way - you are getting TONS OF VALUE for your investment.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process looks like this: We will schedule a phone call to discuss the background and high-level outcome for your potential project. If we determine that we are a good fit for each other, next steps are discussed to start project work and payment. After that, ongoing support is provided with no additional cost. Once you are a customer of mine, you are a customer for life (or if you choose to leave for another service). I provide educational and instructional content free of charge to clients to get the maximum value out of our product.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did not go to school or learn how to code when I started building apps. I do have a Master's Degree, but not in App Development. All of my experience comes from trial and error and simply diving into the work. I started with building an incredibly simple fitness app for myself and it has snowballed into a full-fledged app-building business/adventure I luckily get to call my life. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
