FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We’ve worked with a variety of clients, including: • Homeowners who need carpentry and handyman services, such as assembling furniture, fitness equipment and kids' playgrounds, installing shelving, repairing decks and sheds, or building custom solutions for both indoor and outdoor spaces. • Businesses that require durable and functional custom-built pieces, like reception desks, display stands, or office shelving. We've been commissioned by family-owned hotels, makeup studios, manicure and pedicure salons. • Flower and wedding planners looking for unique event props, such as custom arches, columns, decorative stands and other creations made from wood and metal. We also modify and adapt items they’ve purchased elsewhere to better fit their needs—whether that means resizing an arch, reinforcing a structure, or adding new decorative elements.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently worked on lifting a 1970s house that had sunk on one side due to a previous owner adding a partial second floor and attic without proper structural support. Over the course of about one to two weeks, we added structural beams on both the first floor and in the basement, installed jack-posts, carefully raised and stabilized the house with metal posts. It was a complex project that required precise load calculations and a clear understanding of structural balance—Moses’s master’s degree in mathematics really came in handy here.
