Introduction

Hello, My name is Danny Piselli. I'm a Philadelphia area drummer, teacher, and music engineer. I began learning the drums over 20 years ago, and have spent the last 12 years sharing that knowledge with countless students. I’ve taught students from ages 7 - 50 +, all with various skill sets and goals. Much of my playing experience has come from touring and preforming with multiple rock and metal bands. I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to travel the world preforming music, and I’m eager to see and learn more! I'm looking for students who want to learn virtually over zoom. I'm accepting all skill levels and ages. My lessons are designed to not only develop students as drummers, but as musicians. Being able to learn the fundamentals, rudiments, and theory of drumming, while connecting that knowledge with everyday music that YOU enjoy. Whatever your goals are for learning an instrument, its never too late to start!

Danny is a tremendous drum coach. I started from scratch. He was very patient and designs lessons that keep you interested. He develops plans and lessons around the music you enjoy.

Danny is always flexible. He will work with me to squeeze in extra lessons. Danny will show me new techniques and will teach me new songs note for note. He'll even let me record videos to rake home. Danny is professional and always patient when teaching me new things I find challenging at first!

Danny is very patient and accommodates to every student's preferred method of learning. He allowed me to move from learning my instrument to learning how to be a musician. Creates a learning space where there is no teacher student hierarchy and allows the lesson to flow and breath naturally, promoting quality lessons easily comprehendible for every student. Danny cares and doesn't overlook any student. He carefully creates his lessons plans based on the student's skill level and challenges them when needed. Drums aside Danny helps promote confidence, listening skills and a greater overall knowledge of music as a whole.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer hour long lessons for $60 or forty-five minute lessons for $45 I suggest 45 minute lessons to start, but I'm open to having the student decide. For younger students, 30 minute lessons can be accommodated.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With any new student, my learning what my students goals and ambitions are. Many times however, a person might be completely new to the drums, and therefor I will start them with the basics of rhythm, coordination, and sight reading.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was lucky enough to find my passion in drums and teaching at an early age. I've been teaching professionally since I was 18, and I haven't looked back since. Along the way, I've had the privilege of studying with many great teachers, all who have given me something unique to pass on to my students.
